Cisco announces exceptional measures in response to the COVID-19 virus

In response to the strict travel restrictions implemented by partners in response to the COVID-19 virus, Cisco has taken measures to extend existing Cisco Certifications, Specializations, and Authorizations.

Expiring Cisco Certifications, Specializations, and Authorizations will NOT be impacted by partners' inability to complete a training or take an exam.

All partners holding a current Certification, Specialization, Authorization and/or CMSP designation with an anniversary date between March 16, 2020 – September 16, 2020 will be extended for one year, until 2021. No action is necessary from Cisco partners.

Partners with missing requirements will show an Out Of Compliance flag within PMA during this time period, but Cisco will not be enforcing it.

Meanwhile, for Gold Certifications, all Partner Capability Reviews (PCRs) will be waived between March 16, 2020 – September 16, 2020. All currently scheduled PCRs will be cancelled.

Regarding Master Specializations, Cisco will be waiving all Master renewal requirements between March 16, 2020 – September 16, 2020.

Please reach out to certification-team@cisco.com with any questions or concerns.
